Accessibility
Statement last reviewed: 24 September 2026
We want this website to be usable by everyone, and we build it against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as our working standard. This page describes what the site does today.
What this site does
- Every page is delivered as complete, semantic HTML. The full content is readable without JavaScript.
- Keyboard access: every interactive element has a visible focus state, including tooltips, the network diagram's line buttons and menu controls.
- Reduced motion: if your system asks for reduced motion, or you turn it off yourself using the motion toggle in the footer, every animation on this site, including page scrolling, switches to its complete final state, with all content in place.
- Contrast: body text and interface text meet or exceed a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their backgrounds.
- Diagrams and animated figures carry text alternatives that state their full meaning.
- Fonts are self-hosted and the site sets no cookies, so no consent interruptions stand between you and the content.
- The layout works down to small phone screens without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
- On the network diagram on the home page, picking out one line by hovering is pointer-only. Keyboard users get the same result through the line buttons under the diagram, and every market is also listed as text on smaller screens.
- The downloadable one-page PDF is a tagged, text-layer PDF with title, author and language set, checked to the same standard as this site.
- Our separate platform demo, shown on calls, has not yet been through the same accessibility pass as this site.
